How to Create a Store-Wide Campaign in Growth Suite

This guide will show you how to set up a special discount campaign for your entire store. These campaigns are perfect for events like Black Friday, Mother’s Day, or other special sales periods. They have a fixed start and end date, creating real urgency for your customers.

A Note on Design: A Seamless Look

All the campaign elements you customize (like the popup, product page box, and cart element) are designed to blend perfectly with your store. They will automatically use the same fonts as your store’s theme. This makes the campaign feel like a native, trustworthy part of your website, creating a better experience for your customers.

Here is a simple, step-by-step process.

Step 1: Go to the Campaigns Section

First, open the Growth Suite app in your Shopify admin panel. Click on “Campaigns” in the left menu. On the page that opens, click the “New Campaign” button in the top right corner. A box will appear on the screen for you to choose the “Campaign Type“. Select the “Storewide Campaign” box from there.

Step 2: Name and Describe Your Campaign

On this page, you will see “Campaign Name” and “Description” fields. These fields are for you to remember the campaign later and will not be seen by your customers. You can fill them out however you like. The goal is to make it easy to remember the campaign in the future.

  • Campaign Name: Give your campaign a clear name. For example, “Black Friday Sale 2024” or “End of Summer Discount”.
  • Description (Optional): You can add more details here to help you remember the purpose of the campaign.

Step 3: Set the Start and End Dates

This is a very important step. You must choose the exact start and end dates and times for your campaign.

  • Start Date: The day and time the discount will become active in your store.
  • End Date: The day and time the discount will automatically stop working.

This ensures that the offer is truly limited-time and expires automatically when the event is over.

Step 4: Define Your Discount

For store-wide campaigns, Growth Suite creates a percentage-based automatic discount in Shopify. This means you don’t need a special code. The discount will be applied automatically at checkout for all eligible customers.

You will need to set up the discount details:

  • Discount Value: Enter the percentage for your discount (e.g., “20” for 20% off).

Step 5: Customize the Campaign Popup

During the campaign, a countdown timer will be visible in your store. When a customer clicks on this timer, a popup will open. In this step, you will customize the appearance of that popup.

  • Popup Image: You can change the image that appears in the campaign popup.
  • Requirements: The image must be PNG or JPG, with dimensions of 654x280px and a maximum size of 500Kb.
  • Default Option: If you don’t want to upload a custom image, you can use the default image provided by Growth Suite.
  • Popup Text: You need to write the title and description that will be shown inside the popup.
  • Title: The main headline of your campaign popup.
  • Description: A short text explaining the campaign details.

Step 6: Customize the Product Page Box

Growth Suite will add a special box to your product pages to show the campaign offer. You can customize how this box looks. There are two design options to choose from:

  • Simple Design: This is a basic box with text.
  • Variables: You can use {{timer}} and {{discounted_price}} in your message.
  • Customization: Write any text you want using these variables, and change the background and text colors.
  • Voucher Design (Recommended): This option looks like a stylish coupon, and we recommend using it for a better look.
  • Variables: This design offers more variables: {{discount_offer}} (the discount rate), {{timer}}, {{offer_price}}, and {{regular_price}}.
  • Customization: You can create your own design by arranging text and these variables. You have full control over all background and text colors.

Step 7: Customize the Cart Page Element

Now it’s time to design the element that will be shown on the Cart Page and in the Cart Drawer. We offer a stylish design for this element to clearly show the customer’s savings.

  • Variables: This element uses the {{discount_amount}} variable, which represents the total discount amount applied to the customer’s cart. This allows you to include the customer’s total savings directly in your message.
  • Customization: You need to write a clear and elegant title and description. You can change the colors as you wish to match your store’s design.

Step 8: Activate Your Campaign

After you have checked all the settings, save and activate your campaign.

Once the scheduled start time arrives, the campaign will automatically begin. The countdown timer will appear in your store, and the automatic discount will be ready for your customers at checkout. When the end date is reached, the campaign will stop by itself.

That’s it! You have successfully created a store-wide campaign that creates excitement and drives sales for a specific event.
